Exfoliate
The process of shedding deciduous (baby) teeth.
Eruption
The process of teeth protruding through the gums.
Epidemiology
The study of the incidence of disease in a population.
Endodontist
A specialist who treats injuries, diseases and infections of the tooth pulp (nerve chamber). You would go to an endodontist for a root canal.
Enamel
Hard tissue covering the portion of tooth above the gum line. The first layer of tooth that is visible in the mouth.
Diastema
A space between teeth.
Denturism
The production of dentures dispensed directly by laboratory technicians.
Denture
A removable (partial or complete) set of artificial teeth.
Dentition
The arrangement of natural or artificial teeth in the mouth.
